Language
The official Congress language will be English.
Badges and Security
It is essential that you wear your personal badge at all times while in
the Congress venue and during the Social Events, as it is the official
entrance pass to scientific sessions, commercial exhibition and Congress
activities. For the Social Events, it will also be necessary to present
the corresponding ticket.
Attendance Certificate
Attendance Certificates will be issued by the General Secretariat and
given to the registered participants on the last day.

Opening Session and Opening Ceremony – Welcome Cocktail, Thursday,
April 19 2007
The Opening Session will be held at 09:00h. All registered participants
are invited to attend.
Following the Opening Ceremony at 18:30h, a Welcome Reception will take
place at 19:30h at the congress venue. It will be a great opportunity to
meet other participants and prepare you for a productive congress by
enjoying its first cultural event. All registered participants and
exhibitors are invited to attend.
Closing Ceremony, Saturday, April 21 2007
The Closing Ceremony will be held at 16:30h. All registered
participants are invited to attend.
Optional Tours and Activities
During the congress, the General Secretariat will provide information
about optional tours, excursions (Madrid City Tours, Segovia, Toledo,
etc) and other special Activities such as walking tours or
cardiovascular activities for all attendants.
Medical Assistance and Insurance
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements regarding travel
insurance and medical assistance during the Congress. Neither the
Organization nor the General Secretariat are able to accept any
responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or their
belongings during the Congress.
Electricity Supply
Voltage in Spain is, 220 volts and 50 hertz alternating current. Sockets
are in line with European directives. In most hotels there are adaptors
for special plugs. You should make sure that electric appliances
(shavers, computers, mobile phone chargers…) work with this voltage.
It is important to take special care with appliances from the United
States, since domestic use electricity there is only 125 V and some
devices do not come with a voltage adaptor.
